Kate & Steven Engaged!!!!!

It's wonderful to watch people's lives blossom. I shot profile images for this stunning lady about a year and a half ago in the hopes that she would attract the man of her dreams. Well, I can't take credit for the meeting but I am told that my images made a difference in the initial contact. And wow, I couldn't be happier. To know that your work is affecting other people's lives in such great ways is just so incredible. These guys are getting married this September and while I don't typically do weddings, I would have done this one, especially for such a wonderful lady. But alas, I am already committed that day. We're working on another plan though so we'll keep you posted.

Going Big! Gallery Wrap Canvases!

I love all my clients - and I love to see what they order from their gallery. And don't misunderstand me, I love it even when you order just one 8x10. BUT, my heart does an extra huge leap when you order one of these. So you can imagine my delight when I got this order in last week. I was just so in love. Especially cause this little guy gave us a rather tough time. But our goal was to get one, just one image that would be appropriate for a large canvas. This one is a 20x30 inch gallery wrap canvas. I am in love. Look at this baby! And the mum left an extra wonderful message on my machine saying how much she loves it too! So if you are considering a session with me, know that these are definitely worth the investment. To see one giant image of you and your loved ones on the wall is worth every penny....and more.

So please excuse the crappy product photography - it's not exactly my specialty - but it is what it is!











And a few days later I received this one of my children. It's actually a little bigger at 24x36 (2ft x 3ft) and to show the scale of it - the frames on the wall are 15 inches square. And yes, my baby picture is on the wall! Obviously I didn't take that one.



Over the next few weeks I hope to showcase a few more products that I offer so you get a better idea of what stuff looks like and I am not left with my miserable vocabulary trying to describe it.

The B Family - Family and Engagement Fun!

This was a first for me - not the family session as I've done plenty of those - but the proposal during our session. The adult children were home for the holidays and Trevor wanted to pop the question during our session. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. And I must admit I was a little nervous about having enough room on my card at just the right moment. But it all worked out and it was just perfect. And of course she said YES!!!!!



So here's Mum who booked the session with me:

And of course gorgeous Brooke who had no idea and is just so expressive - the best smile ever!!!! Although this one doesn't highlight that.


And one of the reason I love family sessions so much - when they bring their own props!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this toboggan and their bikes - the doggie bike helmet takes the cake though.

Baby Campbell!

This gorgeous little one belongs to a friend of mine. Her hubby coaches with mine and we've watched our children grow up together. We measure their progress by football seasons - "Wow" he seems to have grown a ton since spring ball!" Is typically the course of conversation come start of the fall season. Her Daddy played ball at Florida and is a VERY, and I don't say that lightly, VERY proud Gator alum. So it was only fitting that we begin our session with this...............

The P Baby - 5 1/2 Months!

Way too cold to do these outside so we cranked up the wood burning stove and got it nice and toasty for baby L. She was such a cutie. And so happy. I even got to snuggle with her.

The P Siblings 12-31-10

Spent New Year's Eve with these fun siblings. It was a lovely day but not lovely enough for the baby so we will be shooting her individually on a separate day later this month. It's just lovely to see such warm connections between siblings and their spouses.

The A Family 12-23-10

Unbelievable family and super fun spirits. Broke out the "ugly" Christmas sweaters especially for our shoot. These guys are so important in my life. I entrust my kids with the youngest (Bethany) so I can shoot everyone else's images. I have two great sitters but she is now also a family friend. My kids love her and we love her too. It's going to break my heart next year when she's off to college! I don't even want to think about it.
