My Crew!

Was itching to get out and try out some of my new equipment that arrived this week. So who do I pick to torture???? My crew of course. Thankfully they were eager to oblige.

The L Family

I love what I do. I especially love it because I get to meet new people and make them happy. This family was so fun to work with. It makes my job so much easier when people relax and joke around. We had a great time. We even got the best day NH has seen in a long time. It was so warm and since we were shooting early in the morning we were very lucky to have it on the warmer side. Here's a few from our session this past weekend.

The recently engaged couple, L & M:






E & Z. E arranged the shoot for her boyfriend's mum and dad as a gift for their 26th wedding anniversary. Such an awesome gift.





And the reason for the shoot - a gift for these guy's wedding anniversary. Congratulations you guys - may you have many more years of happiness together.

Baby Sophia

Newborn babies are so yummy. They sleep (hopefully), they poop, they pee, they eat and they do it all over again. They are just so sweet and elicit all kinds of wonderful emotions. It's so fun to see parents of newborns. The excitement and love is just amazing. Thank you for trusting me with your little one Karen and Dave and a huge congratulations to you both.

The A Family

Had a wonderful time with this family on Saturday. We couldn't have asked for better weather for early March in New Hampshire. It was so nice. I've been friends with this mom for few years now and I got to take her youngest one's newborn images over 18 months ago. It's so fun to watch the little ones grow older and develop their little personalities. Little A didn't like the snow so much and just wasn't in a very good mood. J, however was just a dandy!!!! She totally rocked the session. Hats were handmade by my dear friend Kristin Kebalka, who by the way, is available for custom orders. You won't find an easier person to work with.

No Power

Once again we have been hit with a storm that has destroyed a few essential power lines leading to our neighborhood. Right now the electric company estimates we could be a few days without power. Rats!!!! Please call me if you have questions that need immediate attention as I have no access to email, unless my dear friends let me crash their homes and computers for a bit. 603.542.6724.......Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. We are at least lucky enough to have a secondary source of heat so we won't freeze any time soon.

Meet Flake....................

Woke up this morning with a lot of snow on the ground. Hard to believe two days ago we were running around in the mud as the temps have been so warm. We were starting to think that winter forgot about us. We haven't had snow for a while and what was on the ground was melting away. We have actually been seeing the grass which is normally unheard of in these parts during winter. The snow was heavy and packed well so Peyton and I built a snowman. My first one of this size. We were outside for quite a while, it was actually tolerable for a change. Not so for tomorrow though as I hear rain and then more snow is on the way, along with high winds. Yuck! Changes are coming and so is more snow. Charlotte even made an effort to get off the couch and even dressed herself to come out after she saw Flake from the window. So we would like to introduce you to Flake, such a chunky guy!











But of course we had to pout..........

My Crew

Had some fun on Monday afternoon. The temps were in the 40s which made for a nice time. Bella turned 7 earlier this month and a week later she lost her first tooth, not the brown one that we are all eagerly awaiting but one of the bottom ones - it's a start. Neither Peyton nor Charlotte were too into the shoot but we managed to get a few of them regardless. We had another little friend along that afternoon so Peyton was definitely not interested in having his portraits done. And they found a little frozen section of ice in the swamp that they couldn't resist breaking (and falling in to!). Then there's Charlotte, all she wants to do these days is hang out in her underwear and watch tv, lazy little thing! Thankfully Bella indulged me......and then asked if she could have a dollar since she did so well posing for me. Oh boy, you know where this is heading. Now I have to pay her to pose for me. So glad I got this shoot in as today we got about 10 inches of snow. And built a big old snowman. See more of him in the next post. The adorable hats my girls are wearing were made by my dear friend Kristin Kebalka. I have her contact info available if anyone is interested in her handy work. She is fantastic with knitted/crocheted things.
