The F Family Second Shoot

This is the second time I've got to shoot these guys. See the first shoot here. The Dad organized a fun shoot this spring as a surprise for J for Mother's Day. So we met again to do a mini family session with Mom this time. So much fun - it's so great seeing families where it's obvious they all love each other dearly.

The B Family

Began the morning with this awesome family. We moved the session forward due to pending rain and wow was that a great decision. It started raining around 1pm and didn't stop all afternoon. We had great overcast skies to shoot with. Very nice soft box indeed.

The Z Family

Another awesome family session this evening. These guys were so fun and I even got to play with some chickens - well ok - I got to watch the kids play with them!!!!! I was a little chicken myself, to get my hands near them. I must admit, they do make the best eggs!!!! This mum is a massage therapist at 31 Main Street in Newport so if you are in need of a wonderful massage, give her a call. You will not regret it.

The M Family

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It was so cold today. It even snowed. And these guys did such a great job pretending like it was a warm day - even in their short sleeves. I was cold just looking at them. I hope they went home and had a big cup of hot chocolate or a warm shower to defrost themselves. Yep, cold and windy!!!!

One of my favorite things about shooting family portraits is learning about what the families are into. These guys are not only involved with my son's hockey team/club but also avid hunters. I feel like I got a big education tonight. And I may, just may get to see a moose sometime soon. They tell me they have quite a few up the back of their place. I may just be taking a trip. I am sooooooooooooooo dying to see one.

The D Girls

These girls braved the chilly temps to have their session this morning. We were rained out the last time we tried to shoot so today we were just plain chilly. But thankfully it warmed up. Had a fun time playing in the leaves and watching joggers run right on past us. Wasn't expecting that as we were way out in the country on a pretty quiet road. A is 1!

This precious little thing is turning one on Monday. She is just a doll! And such a good multitasker - I mean to say - sucking a thumb and picking a nose at the same time - now that's talent. Her mummy is co-owner of www.justhatz.com and makes the most incredible crocheted hats. I'm a HUGE fan! Happy Birthday Big Girl!!!!!















It's already all about the shoes!!!!!

Class of 2011 - Alisha

This girl just blew me away. I had so much fun with her. She was just a natural, not to mention gorgeous. I have been waiting soooooooooooooooooo NOT patiently for a girl to break out a vintage inspired outfit. And I just love this. It's so classic and goes so well with the pink car. How I would love to own a car like this one!!!!!
