Have been playing around with my new camera and lens and loving it. The kids are getting a little tired of it but are still working it for me. Thankfully. These were taken around town with the help of Mo, my friend's 11 year old. She was a great helper - thanks Mo!
Yesterday, on a whim, I took the kids to what we call the beach here in New Hampshire. It's actually a beautiful lake about 17 miles away. It looked like the last really nice day we would have for a while(according to our 24hour weather channel) so I packed up the kids and my camera and headed off. The state park was officially closed so thinking ahead, which doesn't happen much these days, I packed up the scooters and push car so we could make the trek a little easier on all of us! We rode into the park and down to the beach. Peyton was in such a "mood", he didn't really want me to take his photo but didn't want to be out of the frame either. After warning him not to go in the water, he got in and sat down, then got out and sat down in the sand. Didn't bring an extra set of clothes as I didn't think the water would be at all warm enough to wade in. What was I thinking???? So he had to ride home in his wet underwear. Managed to get a few shots of the kids. Enjoy!
Had a shoot last night with an amazing family. This is a dear friend of mine who recently moved 45 minutes away- arghhh! We met out at her parent's amazing farm. Although these pictures don't show it, there are awesome old barns and rock walls all around the place. A photographer's dream!!!! The fall foliage is incredible right now which was an added bonus. We had two active boys and three dogs (no horses nibbling ears this year though :) !) to contend with and still managed to get in some shots. Here's a sneak peak!
Sunday afternoon I got to photograph The Gagnes. The kids were super cute and everyone did a fabulous job of just being themselves. I hope to have the previews complete by the end of the week but for now, here's a sneak peak!
Had a busy weekend this weekend. Spent Saturday afternoon with the Geil Family. Three generations all together and everyone awake for the family picture. It was quite the challenge for me simply because it was by far the most families I've shot at one time. Was a great time and everyone was super helpful. Thank you all. I hope you enjoy the couple of sneak peaks.
