Out of Office

I will be out of the office June 30th-July 16th. I am unsure of what my internet connection will be but I will endeavor to check my email periodically so please send all communication through email. Our house sitter will not be answering the phone so all voicemails will be returned once I am back to work.

H Maternity Session

So excited to be doing this soon-to-be mom's maternity session tonight. This lovely lady is due in a couple of weeks so we were lucky to actually get it in before baby decides to make it's appearance. Next step is newborn images which will be so much fun!!!! Just love the maternity/newborn combination. It's such an honor to get to document such amazingly wonderful times in people's lives.

The B Family

I have the best clients. So fun, so easy going, and so willing to do whatever to get the shot!!!! Met another super cool family tonight. Their garden/backyard was just a dream to shoot in. Super nice lighting - a natural reflector as the sun shone right on the cream colored house and reflected back into their faces. Not to mention just as cute as can be - all of them. Look at this big little guy. I don't think they make them any cuter - anywhere. He was just so happy to crawl around. Just love the chunky little guy. It was so fun.

The D Family

Finally a break in the weather allowed us to get our session in last night. One of the best things about living in a small town is getting to know people in more than one context. These guys live in our neighborhood, we attend the mum's work for our dental apts, and they even coach my son's soccer team. I had sessions with two different sets of twins this week, one set of boys and one of girls. These little ones were just adorable. And big brother was quite the man!!!! Couldn't get him to say boo to me but he did bring me flowers. Such sweetness. Anyway, on to the peak!

The A/R Family

This was just a fabulous family session. I ran around like crazy but it was just so fun!!!! Back in the spring I had donated a gift package to Twin Valley Youth Hockey for their big fundraising raffle. It's always a gamble. You hope that the people who win it value custom photography at least a little bit. It is after all something I sink my entire soul into. It is not just a job to me, but an extension of myself. Each family I shoot, takes away a little something of me. And I truly hope they know how much my life is enriched by allowing me to be a part of their family memories. These guys were just adorable. So loving and just so kind. They were up for anything I suggested and even came up with fabulous ideas themselves. So here's a few images from their session. Thanks guys!

The M Families.

Two Brothers, 2 wives and 5 children. Too bad we didn't have a couple dogs, cats etc to add to the mix. Such a great time, such fun people, such wonderful memories.
