Out of Town

Just wanting to let everyone know that I will be on vacation from July 22-29th. Having some fun with family and friends. Will return phone calls, messages, emails as I can but am unsure how much Internet access I will have. Enjoy your week. I will be "unplugging" from all things electronic. There's something so refreshing in that.

Had great session last night with some adorable young adults. There's always a question about where one is going to wear that prom dress (or prom dresses!!!) after the actual prom. Do they just hang in the closet collecting dust, waiting to be donated, or even dreaded to be looked at after several years. What a better way to treasure the dress, and the memories than a custom photography session. Out of the ordinary images that will last long after prom night. These guys were so much fun. And such a great group session. Get some friends together, split the session fee and make some great memories. Thanks guys for the great session. I know you've been anxiously awaiting these. Full on black and white tonight. Will work on some color images soon! Enjoy.

Rockin' Maternity Session

Had a super fun maternity session this evening with this gorgeous momma! Thanks Rose for coming to Claremont for our session. We survived the bugs, with a little less blood maybe, but we survived!!!! Enjoy your first few images Rose. You're just stunning.

The KT Twins

I've been waiting a long time to get my hands (and camera) on a set of these. Twin boys, just as adorable as ever. Just shy of 3 weeks old and just as good as you can imagine. Mum and Dad were super troopers bringing them over to me. I am just amazed at how they work together, feeding, changing, burping, all the basics times 2! Thanks guys for a wonderful session today. Here's a little peek at some of the images we got today. Still so many more to come. Can you believe these guys are already telling secrets? Look at them:

Peyton

This is my boy Peyton. He's the middle child and fits perfectly there. I couldn't imagine any of my girls being in the middle. Peyton will never be that "forgotten middle child." There is NO WAY he will ever let that happen. Have you ever heard the boy yell, screech, scream, holler....yep, there is no way he'll be forgotten. And as much as those things wear me out, they are what makes him my boy! He looks so much like his father, it's such a cool thing for them to share. Right now he is so into modelling his daddy. So after seeing Daddy wear a tie on multiple occasions, he was very much wanting to have one of his own. I found a great deal online the other day for 6 silk ties in a grab bag for $22. He was in heaven. He picked this one out to wear for his shoot today. It was so fun. He wanted to check out the new parking garage in town so up we went. He is still very, very fast, gives me lots of goofy faces, and tires very easily of me looking at him. But never the less, I got some gorgeous shots of him. The first one is my absolute favorite. One of my canvas vendors was having a great sale so I was able to pass some of these savings on to my clients this past weekend. I just had to have one of these for myself, I mean my business (for display purposes of course!!!). This is the image I got. I can't wait to see it.

Honor & The O Family

I often hear women say how difficult it is to find good close girlfriends who they just connect with. I guess this is where I consider myself truly blessed. You see with my husband's line of work we tend to move quite a bit and I have been blessed to have found some really wonderful women in each place we've lived. This past weekend I had the honor of documenting the connection between one of my very closest friends and her mum and her daughters, all together. I can't tell you what a joy it was to be the one to capture this. They are all truly amazing women and I am so very blessed to be a part of their lives.





And her absolutely gorgeous daughters - It's a good thing their Daddy's a big guy!
