Cassie & Matt - Married!!!!!!!

As a rule I don't do weddings - but sometimes there are ones that come along that I simply cannot refuse. They are typically the ones of my close friends or family members. This young lady has been through so much and Matt definitely came along at the right time. They are just perfect together and being a part of their special day was just the best experience. I am blessed to have had so much time with them. Cassie first met Matt while Cassie was photographing a wedding, hence the vintage camera image!!!! Cassie and Matt - Happily forever after!





These guys did a "first look" as they knew they wanted to go immediately from the wedding to the reception and not cut out time after the ceremony for their portraits. They also wanted to have some private time together before seeing each other at the ceremony. It was just magical!!!!!

Had the pleasure working with this gorgeous young lady a couple of weeks ago. She truly is a beauty and is in for a great senior year.

The Root Family

This family's been so patient. I shot this session last Thursday but was a little busy this past weekend (shooting the wedding) and couldn't get them up. So I wanted to get these up today. The Root family is just a fantastic family here in town. They own multiple local businesses that help make this town a great place to live. Twisted Fitness is our local gym, just a great place to workout - Reaching Roots Yoga Company run by Leigh Ann and her crew of yoga instructors and Winter works, a snow removal business run by John. They are honest, and incredibly generous people. I approached John for some advice about making a tent and the next thing I knew he was offering to trudge through the woods collecting the necessary saplings that we needed. Within a few days I had a tent and it's just marvellous. I couldn't think of a better family to debut it with. They love to camp and have a camper out at the ever popular Loon Lake Campgrounds. So last week we braved the humidity and hot temps and headed out to the lake for their portraits. As you can see, we had a great time!!!! And it was wonderfully refreshing. Thanks for being willing to play guys!

Closed for Vacation!

Just a brief note to let you know that sharna W photography will be closed for vacation until July 18th. The Danaher Family

We had a wonderful mix of sunshine and warmth for our session last night. Two gorgeous kiddos and a mum that obviously loves her babes more than life itself. It's so nice to spend my "work" time with such lovely people. I really do have the best job around.

Little Mr. Wesley Turns 1!

I shot this guy's newborn images a year ago - yep that's right a whole year. Where oh where did the time go? I am simply amazed. He is just a big ball of yum!!!! I wanted to put down the camera and just play with him all night and ok, you got me - squeeze those chunky thighs. Wow is he a cutie.











Mum organized a "smash the cake session" and had Heidi from Heidi's Simply Sweet Creations make this amazingly awesome cake. Not only was it fabulous to look at - it tasted yummy too!

The Geil Family

These guys are just the nicest people. I met them when we first moved to Claremont and just fell in love with them. I even continued to love them when they moved out of our neighborhood.....have learned to live with that one although I am still not over it!!!!! But regardless, we get together whenever we can. We've been friends through some pretty amazing things - the birth of our youngest kids, changes in jobs, and our return to work from Stay at home mom status. It's been a great 6 years. And thankfully we are guaranteed a life long friendship as they are my youngest daughter's god parents!!!!! I've got them roped in!!!!!
