An Aussie Wedding
One of the absolute highlights of my recent trip to Australia was my cousin's wedding. I haven't had much time since my return to work on his wedding images but I wanted to get at least a couple up here to show I am making a little progress!!!!! Really I am.....please forgive me guys. I promise to keep working on them. You couldn't get more Australian than sharing your wedding day with kangaroos. I was so tickled that they let me be a second shooter at their wedding and even more tickled that the kangaroos came out to watch the happy bride and groom get their portraits done. I was just buzzing with excitement. Enjoy the preview guys. I had so much fun creating these for you.
The happy couple........so very much in love. With some pretty awesome onlookers.
The gorgeous bride.....
Their adorable little girl...who also shares my birthday.
And her again playing with some new friends....
Who wouldn't want these guys to share in their wedding day?

The S Family - kids!
Had a session on Wednesday that was just fantastic. It had been in the planning stages for several weeks. Our day finally arrived only to be met with frigid temperatures and a 90% chance of rain so after rescheduling once we actually got it in. And what a great day we had. Mum had wanted her daughter captured but we also got her son in a few and an extra with their exchange student who is with them for a year. This was a photographer's dream session. I had always admired the location we shot at but never knew the owner of the property. After one phone call, mum got it done!!!! Yahoo! Come the day of our session I not only get an awesome location but mum also arranged to have a vintage mustang for us to use. And not only that, the outfits were just awesome. She had planned everything down to the fine details. It was great. I think I'll have her write me a manual on planning a session. Just fantastic!!!! Things always go smoother when this much planning goes into it. And people are generally more excited about their galleries. Dream..........session. Thanks N.

And the reason for this session, her gorgeous daughter.
I hope it was worth the wait and all the planning.

Kindred Spirits
Last week I had the pleasure of shooting with this lovely lady K. I arrived at her property out in the country of East Central Vermont and was instantly smitten. Her little slice of heaven here on earth was just glorious. We had intended to do our shoot while the greenery was still in bloom but things got delayed a little after my father's death and my trip to Australia. But still, the property was incredible, even now with most of the foliage already down. Not only was my soul totally nourished by the scenery, I felt so comfortable with K. As we chatted we discovered things about our families that were parallel to each other. It was almost eerie how similar things had been for us throughout our lives. It's these type of moments that make me love what I do even more. The people I have met over the course of my photographic career have been blessings in my life. Enjoy your sneak peek K. Many more to come.

Little J!
I posted an image of this little darling a couple of weeks ago, promising to come back with some more. She's just a sweetie. She belongs to my best friend from high school and her hubby. I was happy to get the opportunity to capture her on film (so to speak anyway). Thanks Nole for the wonderful memories. Many Blessings to you and your family.
Don't you just love the dirty little nose.
The girls watching Daddy......so adoringly.

Little Miss Brooklynn
Had both the pleasure and the challenge of this little bundle of joy today. She was a tough little girl. We spent four hours trying to get her to sleep and to stay that way. Mum says she is mighty sleepy during the day and up all night. Am hoping that her lengthy wake time today starts to readjust her to sleep more at night so mum can get some rest too. I think she was reacting to the pinesol I used to mop the floors this morning. Thanks Brooklynn, now I have an excuse never to mop my floors again. If only I could get away with that one. Don't you just love her name? So cool. Congratulations guys!

My Lovely Friend
First up I need to give a huge thank you to this family. I had their session planned for several weeks but what we hadn't planned on of course was my father passing away the day before our session. So needless to say, I wasn't totally on my game that day. We did, however, have a great time. K and C have two boys and are expecting, hopefully any day now, a little girl. We are all super excited about this little one. K will mark my first belly to baby and beyond plan and I must say I am beyond thrilled that it will be with her and her little girl. I know you are beyond ready for not only this little one to be here but also your gallery. Thanks so much for your patience K. I promise to have it to you sooner rather than later.

And her gorgeous baby bump!
Can't wait to meet the little darling!

Mr A!
I love this girl!
Little Miss H....so full of life, so fun, so full of trouble!!!! But I love her like crazy. She's one of my regulars.....her mum brings her and her brother every fall to update the family portrait wall. I just love seeing them grow up. And what a difference a year makes. Last year was really tough...this year she gave me everything I could possibly want. Way to go H!
